HOW TO GET STARTED:

Step 1: Pole 101 To join our studio, everyone starts with our mandatory Pole 101 course. This is a four-week series that meets on the same day and time each week. Pole 101 is specifically designed for absolute beginners, making it the purr-fect entry point into the world of pole dancing.

What to Expect in Pole 101:

  • Basics and Foundations: We cover the essentials such as proper form, alignment, spinning, and aerial poses.
  • Exotic Dance Foundations: Alongside pole & safety techniques, you'll learn the basics of sensual and exotic dance.
  • Sexy Homework: Take the magic home! We provide you with sexy homework, including home workout conditioning exercises and flexibility routines, so you can bring the sexy to your living room.
  • Supportive Environment: Our skilled (and extremely patient) instructors create a supportive and empowering space where you can confidently explore your sensuality.

Graduation to Level Two: 

After finishing Pole 101, you’re ready for level two, a four-week series designed to build on your skills. You also have the option to continue progressing in our  DROP-IN  classes, offering more flexibility to fit your schedule.

How do your classes work?

At PoleKittens Fitness, we provide two types of classes: 4-week Level series classes and drop-in workshops.

4-week Level Series

Because one pole class is never enough! Our level series are designed to expertly guide you from your first spin to complex, inverted pole poses. Beginning with Pole 101 (or Six Weeks to Sexy), you'll progress up each level 1 – 9. Cheer on and support your fellow Kitten classmates as you all learn to twirl, grind, grip, and climb your way to the top—literally! When you graduate a level, it's time to celebrate! Receive your garter, one hard-earned cupcake, and bragging rights to boot.

Drop-in classes and workshops

Feelin' a little extra? These stand-alone classes are great for improving your routines or learning something fun and new. Most are suitable for beginners, but some require Level 1 completion before attending.

What should I wear to pole class?

Pole fitness is fun and sexy, but it's also a workout. Please dress appropriately! Sports bras, tanks tops and "booty" (volleyball) shorts are perfect. Kneepads also come in handy for sliding and floorwork. Bring a hair tie and rock a messy bun if you want, but remember it's also important to learn the art of the sexy hair flip!

What should I not wear to pole class?

LOTION. Please do not slather up before class—it's dangerous. Even if you think you've rubbed it in all the way, the oils linger on your skin and make gripping the pole very difficult. Remember: ashy beats injury. Metal damages the poles, so please avoid wearing rings, watches, bracelets, etc.

Do I have to wear stripper shoes?

We here at PoleKittens do love our Pleasers, but recognize that not everybody is comfortable in 6" stilettos. Beginner classes always start out barefoot, with proper instruction on how to walk, spin, and dance in heels provided at a later time.

Do I need to be super-fit and strong or a great dancer?

Nope! Not at all! All you need is your badass self and a desire to move that beautiful body. Whether you're new to your fitness journey, need to shake things up, or just want to live out some secret stripper fantasies (we won't tell!), come and enjoy some sexy ME-ow time that's just for you.
